One of the most inspiring projects I’ve worked on was in the Philippines.
Given a tight two-day deadline for filming a story rich in depth, I opted for a guerilla-style approach. Using the discreet Canon EOS 60D camera and relying on available light, I strived to capture the most compelling footage. Utilizing a wired Samson lapel mic for interviews and keeping an Audio Technica shotgun mic as a backup, I even employed the shotgun mic to capture ambient sounds of distant boats and birds. The result was a dynamic and immersive storytelling experience.
